Summary:
This class is a combination of instructor-led lecture, discussions, and demonstrations with a heavy emphasis on hands-on workshops to teach Desktop Intelligence( 3.1 basic reporting concepts. Topics to be covered include data warehousing concepts, Desktop Intelligence( data sources and providers, creating reports and charts, building queries, formatting techniques, using the Slice and Dice panel, sorting and filtering, creating drill-down reports, using new Find functionality, creating and applying alerters. The student will also learn data warehousing concepts and how to use Desktop Intelligence( 3.1 reporting to access information contained in data warehouses.
